On March 5th, we were joined by Ralph Ward, Founding Partner of Ward Salient. Ralph will be discussing the newly launched Tri State Fund. The fund derives its name from the three simultaneous strategies which it uses, namely, taking advantage of the unique features of U.S. equity options to capture dividends, interest income and lastly, to fully hedge. Through this approach, the fund has managed to produce the much sought after “asymmetrical alpha” that investors seek. As such, the fund has never had a loosing calendar year and has posted average returns in excess of 18% per annum over the past five years. Tri State accepts both onshore (U.S.) as well as offshore clients.
